Welcome to Stroke of Luck Quilting & Design

My name is Juliet and I am the designer and quilter behind the name. I started Stroke of Luck in 2007, when I was lucky enough to be given a longarm quilt machine through the Department of Veteran's Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation Program, for injuries I recieved while I was on active duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was stationed at Fort Bragg, serving in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne when I sustained a brain injury (among other injuries).

I have been quilting since 1989 and am an extremely original fiber, pattern, and quilt designer. I like to describe my designs as American without being too Americanna.
